Vintage Redwood Custom

These Custom vintage Redwood Cajongo cajons are built from lumber that has seasoned for over 50 years!

I acquired the lumber from the estate of a local artist who had purchased and used them in the mid 60s for unfinished book shelving in their home.

Mostly dense vertical grain premium stock. I have used quarter sawn white oak for the solid rims and a variety of special woods for inlay detail.

Oh sure they are gorgeous... but the TONE! Outstanding.
