Cajongo Shakers are something new and different for the Cajongo line.
Inspired by one of those...
"how about that!" moments. Cajongo shakers through evolution have come to the world of percussion.
With
lots of different types of shakers out there I envisioned a wooden shaker that would have more than one voice. Giving the
Artist a wide variety of sounds to work with.
So... the 2.5" Cajongo cube shaker has it. Each
of the original 3 ( A,B & C) all have individual sounds of their own.
Each of those individual Cajongo
shakers has 4 distinct voices depending on how it is held.
The thin top and bottom allow the cube to be muted
with the fingers, and manipulate the sound in various ways. You have to play with these a bit to really get it... but when
you do! That's what it is all about.
The "A" model is very bright and loud, "B" is
a mellowed and blended sound and "C" is more sizzle like most traditional shakers.
Currently
produced in Sugar pine and ply, and solid Teak shells.
