The quality of the samples are only as good as the speakers your listening through.

The web site format allowed Mp3 so that's what I used.

It's surely not the highest quality, so please keep in mind how much better these drums really sound.

The Artist performing the tracks is Mike Pacheco, yes! the "Mike Pacheco" of Eagle Rock, So. Cal. USA. A wonderful percussionist with a tremendous feel for rhythm.
He got a lot out of these drums, and given time could have gotten a lot more.

Much thanks to him, his artistry & spirit!

The tracks were put down at "Castle Productions" studio in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles California by Bradley Cook with a great deal of care. His offer of help is GREATLY appreciated. And his work in getting what I wanted to portray is tops!

The recordings were done in a "live end - dead end" isolation both in the "dead end" of the room. The mics used were an "Audio Thechnica 4040 condenser about 24" above and a "Royer" ribbon mic. into an "Aroua Audio" GTQ2 mic pre with no EQ into an "Emperical Labs EL8 compressor - into an "Apogee Rosetta A to D @ 44.1k / 24 bit.

I didn't want any added tones, so as to give a good representation of the true sound and tone of the instruments themselves.
As an engineer Brad could have tweeked the sound to no end, and it really is amazing what an engineer can do with these drums.

Many thanks to these two fellows for putting a lot of create into the project. It's creative fellows like this that truly make the world go round!
