Unique qualities of tone can be had from the variety of fixtures. Tight Sizzle sounds to briliant cracking
syncopated tones can be created by applying these to the interior of the Cajon style or the Bongo style "Cajongos".
The typical instalation is in the upper chamber of the unique Cajongo line of cajons or either chamber of the Bongo style
cajons.
Sizzle, Snap, Pop & Crack are fair imitative names for the sound of these beaded fixtures. "Hybrid" is a new addition to the line of beaded fixtures and is made of two strings of each size bead giving
a mix of sounds created by the mix of bead sizes. The new Snap & Pop fixture have become very popular as well. The "Bare" snare come standard in the "Primal" line of cajons. It is made of 8 bare 56 gauge nickel
wound guitar strings. The "Super Bare" is made of 14 strings, a fuller richer snare tone.
The "Rare"
snare is just that because it is made of the ball ends of the guitar strings used to make the rest of the line. Rare because
it takes making 8 other fixtures to make just one of the Rare. The combination of beads is all most limitless: Rare
Sizzle, Snap & Pop, Snap & Crack and on and on!
